The company Stanic Beverages Ltd, the owner of the portfolio of brands of fruit juices and drinks Juicy and TO, and one of the leaders in the markets of BiH and Croatia, officially opened a new factory for the production of juices and beverages in Kreševo in BiH. The value of investments in new production capacities of Stanić Beverages Ltd. amounts to 6.1 million euros, and inthe new plant equipped with modern Tetra Pak technology, which guarantees the highest standards of product quality, over 60 peoplewill be employed.
The factory was officially opened by Dragan Čović, BiH Presidency member, Kristian Stanić and Ivan Todorić, President of the Supervisory Board of Agrokor, and the opening was attended by many other distinguished guests from social life.
The opening of the new plant follows the sales growth of the total portfolio Juicy, in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and well as in other markets in the region, but also in new markets where a remarkable export of products is planned. Last month first quantities of Juicy juice were delivered to the United Arab Emirates, and the company plans to expand the presence and sale of Juicyalso to all CEFTA markets states including Albania and Turkey, with which BiH has free trade agreements.
The new factory in Kreševowill be the production centre for BiH and all markets in the wider region, while the existing factory in Croatia will focus on covering the demand in Croatia and the planned larger exports to the markets of the countriesof the European Union. In line with the plans of expansion ofthe Juicy portfolio and the growth of the sales results in Stanić Beverages Ltd. are the plans to open new jobs in BiH.
At the opening of the factory in Stanić Beverages Ltd. the increase in sales and market share in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatianwas stressed. In the first five months of 2015 in BiH were sold around 90,000 litres Juicy fruit juices more than in the same period of the previous year, which in the past year resulted in a market share growth of 1.4 percentage points in the category of fruit nectars and 100% juices. In the first five months of this year in Croatia were sold about 200,000 litres Juicy juices more than in the same period of 2014, representing a total sales increase of 5 per cent and a market share in the last year increased by 2.3 percentage points * .
